The Justice Y.K. Sabharwal Moot Court Competition is an attempt to re-invent the standard of moot court competitions, and to raise the bar. We aim to provide competing students a unique and challenging atmosphere so that we may witness new heights of creativity and thought. In furtherance of the same, there shall be two moot propositions. Memorial qualifications, and arguments of the preliminary rounds will be based on the first proposition, while arguments of the semi-finals and finals will be based on the second proposition.
This element has been introduced in order to prevent the advanced rounds from becoming tedious repetitions of already threshed out arguments. We hope that this new format shall keep competing teams on their toes and make the competition more exciting and stimulating for everyone.
